Learn Simple HTML and make your eBay Listings Really Stand Out From The Crowd

You can make your ebay listings look really good and apealling by adding pictures and frames within the listing itself and it wont cost you anything on eBay.

No need to spend a fortune on web design you can easily learn to do it yourself you can add pictures frames and other design related items to make your listing look very professional.

The best part is you don’t need to learn HTML in depth to become a web designer all you will need is a WYSIWYG editor and away you go its so simple to learn yet the results are fantastic.

Now for those of you that have been to any of my eBay workshops by now you should have all the basic attributes on listing and running you eBay shops and of course hopefully you are under way selling.

Business Link Yorkshire eBay workshop Bridlington spa

First off thank you all for turning up to the workshop and once again I apologize that we were unable to demonstrate live online due to the internet being down.

I suggest you book on to the. same ebay workshop event between now and November in order to get the full benefit check with Business Link for all upcoming eBay workshops.

Just to recap one or two things it’s important to remember to repeat more often than not the title within the description part of your listings or at least repeat the products main keywords several times and don’t forget to add tags to the bottom of your eBay listing’s.

Also remember to include add to favorites and news letter link’s to all listings as well as creating communication Boxes in your eBay shop an excellent way of building email marketing list for your eBay business.

And last but not least don’t forget to use the business center which has an excellent host of information to help you start and grow your eBay business

Thank you for a fantastic turnout at the Business Link Advanced eBay Workshop which was a joint Venture with the Federation Of Small Business thank you all for the excellent feedback about the workshop.

I noticed from the delegate list that there were many types of businesses ranging from clothing to art, furniture and even one or two from the service industry whatever your product or service you can certainly use eBay to promote and get your message across a very large audience indeed.

But remember its up to you to make it happen I would suggest start smallish gather pace and grow always dipping in and out of the business center which hosts a range of excellent eBay business information to help aid your eBay business.

For your first few sales I would suggest that you list your items using eBay’s sell your item form which you can access from the sell tab at the top of the page, once your business grows you may want to consider using Turbo Lister which you can list off-line as well as in bulk you can learn more about Turbo Lister Here.

Selling manager is a great way to keep track of your business with tools such as what’s been paid what’s not what needs to be posted message centre and many other handy features that make your eBay business a breeze to keep an eye on, download the free version and use that first before graduating to the paid one more about selling manager here

Business Link Advanced eBay Trading Workshop at The Ramada Encore Barnsley

Bit of a strange setting for our advanced eBay trading workshop at The Ramada Encore Barnsley but it made a change.

Just like to say thank you all for turning up we had a full house and lots of questions on the day over a wide range of topics covering ebay shops.

I have a lot of work to do for a few of you so it may take a while for me to get back to you but get back I will.

There are a few changes affecting sellers on eBay and I will be posting links here on my blog of all relevant information watch this space.

Because we are limited for time on our workshops I would like to talk about some other ebay tools to aid your business.

First of Turbo Lister this is an excellent listing tool which you list you items off line and list in bulk upload in bulk create duplicates keep everything in one place ,another handy feature is the ability to synchroniser with your active listings and export data to a csv file  take a look around the turbo Lister page and download for free.

Selling Manager pro allows you to get a snapshot of your business activities as well as manage your listings and keep track of inventories begin with the free version of selling manager .

Take a look at these two tools great for mid to upper range sellers.

Thank you all for turning up today and making your workshop an interesting and resounding Success the important thing is that you put to good use what you have learnt,

Ebay can and will be an excellent online tool to help develop your internet Business but nothing happens until you make it happen.

Opening an eBay shop will take you to the next level and of course help increase sales treat it serious its the same as having a high street shop only here you have more customers don’t restrict yourselves to just UK selling become international traders to and remember the world is your oyster as the saying goes.

Last but not least Hard work consistent persistent committed sustained action is what’s required for you to succeed get stuck in don’t plan too much you will learn as you go on “The moment you commit yourself is the moment your goal is assured”

Well there are no more eBay trading workshops now until January 2011 I would like to take this opportunity in thanking you all so much for the fantastic feedback we are delighted that you have enjoyed and benefited from the eBay trading workshops.

Business Link Yorkshire Advanced eBay workshop Inovation Centre Europarc Grimsby

Hi all thanks for a fantastic turnout at the inovation Centre Europarc Grimsby.

Apart from 3 negative feedbacks about the event all the others where positive and I thank you all for your fantastic comments regarding the workshop and how beneficial it was to you thanks.

My understanding was that the 3 people who were there were not actually sat in the course to learn how to sell effectively on eBay but rather to watch what I was doing they apparently thought that the presentation was erratic.

What I did not expect was the amount of delegates turning up without any prior knowledge of eBay selling which numbered around 75% of the workshop against 25% who attended the basic selling workshop and made the presentation very difficult to coordinate as trying to strike a fine balance for existing sellers and new sellers alike is a very hard thing to do at an advanced workshop.

Personally I thought it went brilliant sure I had to flick from page going back and forth the reason for this is that I am not a selfish person I do my best to keep everyone happy at different levels in these workshops and I have to say I am glad I took this action to flick in and out and once again I am proved right because had I taken the systematic approach I would have endured a majority of negative feedback a pat on the back then for me for keeping you all happy (expect the 3 ).

I take it that you all read the notes on Business Links information booklet regarding this workshop and that you were of the understanding that it was for eBay shops learning rather than basic learning.

I must say apart from the 3 watchers all of you who are looking to start an eBay business thought the workshop was excellent and for this I am grateful because as you are the ones who are so important this is all that matters to me thanks again for the excellent awesome feedback.

Thanks to all of you for the excellent turnout at yet another successful eBay trading workshop.

All topics of the basics of selling on eBay were covered and I just want to point out that here on my website you can access some videos which will help you create a listing and remember I am here if you need some help.

Once you have registered as a seller don’t forget to sign up for seller newsletter where you will be kept informed of all the latest developments on all things eBay for sellers.

We keep getting the 64 million dollar question at the end of the workshop where do we purchase goods for resale and so a quick reminder that suck simple things such as yell.com,yellow pages, or even applegate.com are good starting points and before you decide to become some big importers of goods for resale please tread very carefully investigate and don’t buy unless you can through paypal.
