Learn Simple HTML and make your eBay Listings Really Stand Out From The Crowd

You can make your ebay listings look really good and apealling by adding pictures and frames within the listing itself and it wont cost you anything on eBay.

No need to spend a fortune on web design you can easily learn to do it yourself you can add pictures frames and other design related items to make your listing look very professional.

The best part is you don’t need to learn HTML in depth to become a web designer all you will need is a WYSIWYG editor and away you go its so simple to learn yet the results are fantastic.

Now for those of you that have been to any of my eBay workshops by now you should have all the basic attributes on listing and running you eBay shops and of course hopefully you are under way selling.

Business Link Yorkshire eBay workshop Bridlington spa

First off thank you all for turning up to the workshop and once again I apologize that we were unable to demonstrate live online due to the internet being down.

I suggest you book on to the. same ebay workshop event between now and November in order to get the full benefit check with Business Link for all upcoming eBay workshops.

Just to recap one or two things it’s important to remember to repeat more often than not the title within the description part of your listings or at least repeat the products main keywords several times and don’t forget to add tags to the bottom of your eBay listing’s.

Also remember to include add to favorites and news letter link’s to all listings as well as creating communication Boxes in your eBay shop an excellent way of building email marketing list for your eBay business.

If you click on tutorial link you will find a couple of eBay videos that will help you get started.

And last but not least don’t forget to use the business center which has an excellent host of information to help you start and grow your eBay business

Get Ready for Upcoming Changes To eBay

This is important you will need to make some changes to your listings by May beware that some listings may be removed by eBay if you fail to carry out these changes.

They are very simple and most can be done in bulk which will save you time and the good news is that the introduction of the shopping basket is almost upon us an exiting new feature that will no doubt help increase sales.

There are also various optimising tools which again should help deliver more business to your eBay listings.

In all if you want to move your eBay business along faster than others you will need to make these changes keep an eye on your ebay site or inbox for more information on what needs to be done.

Business Link Yorkshire Advanced eBay Trading Workshop Thirsk Racecourse

Thank you all for an excellent turnout and thanks for making the workshop a success.

Hopefully you have all received your presentations if not please let me know and I’ll Get one of to you.

Selling on eBay can be very lucrative for you all but you must apply yourself nothing happens until you make it happen.

A few of you have been writing to me asking for advice on to attain stock and more importantly where from?

This of course is the 64 million dollar question you will find in your area wholesale suppliers Auction houses car boot Sales flee markets and many other avenues on your doorstep Even retailers are constantly looking to shift inventory to make way for new stock or generate cash flow why not call in on local retailers drop in a business card make yourself know.

Avoid buying goods from China until you have gained some buying experience you could make a costly mistake.

Why not take a look at the wholesale category on eBay and only trade in things you know something about this way you increase your chances of success these should be enough to get you going.

Well there are no more eBay trading workshops now until January 2011 I would like to take this opportunity in thanking you all so much for the fantastic feedback we are delighted that you have enjoyed and benefited from the eBay trading workshops.

Business Link Yorkshire Advanced eBay workshop Inovation Centre Europarc Grimsby

Hi all thanks for a fantastic turnout at the inovation Centre Europarc Grimsby.

Apart from 3 negative feedbacks about the event all the others where positive and I thank you all for your fantastic comments regarding the workshop and how beneficial it was to you thanks.

My understanding was that the 3 people who were there were not actually sat in the course to learn how to sell effectively on eBay but rather to watch what I was doing they apparently thought that the presentation was erratic.

What I did not expect was the amount of delegates turning up without any prior knowledge of eBay selling which numbered around 75% of the workshop against 25% who attended the basic selling workshop and made the presentation very difficult to coordinate as trying to strike a fine balance for existing sellers and new sellers alike is a very hard thing to do at an advanced workshop.

Personally I thought it went brilliant sure I had to flick from page going back and forth the reason for this is that I am not a selfish person I do my best to keep everyone happy at different levels in these workshops and I have to say I am glad I took this action to flick in and out and once again I am proved right because had I taken the systematic approach I would have endured a majority of negative feedback a pat on the back then for me for keeping you all happy (expect the 3 ).

I take it that you all read the notes on Business Links information booklet regarding this workshop and that you were of the understanding that it was for eBay shops learning rather than basic learning.

I must say apart from the 3 watchers all of you who are looking to start an eBay business thought the workshop was excellent and for this I am grateful because as you are the ones who are so important this is all that matters to me thanks again for the excellent awesome feedback.

Making eBay Shops Work For Your Business, Great Victoria Hotel, Bridge Street, Bradford

Sorry for the delay in getting this blog out I just want to say thanks for a fantastic turnout for the  Business Link Yorkshire advanced eBay Trading Workshop held at the Great Victoria Hotel, Bridge Street, Bradford.

There were one or two of you that thought the handouts were a bit on the small side and if anyone would like a pdf copy let me know and I will email it to you.

Ebay basic shops are an excellent cost-effective way of starting out on your e-commerce venture and with around 250+ million registered users make eBay a hallmark for your online success.

My advice to begin is getting to grips with the control panel and list small amounts gradually begin with the basic shop and keep growing month on month rather than try to get it all done in 5 minutes Rome was not built-in a day.

Take a look at cooltext where you can design and download a logo for free then upload to you store http://cooltext.com/

And remember you can purchase and point a domain name directly to your store for that added professionalism.

Thanks all for turning up yet another fully booked event.

Just a quick reminder to you all that I am on hand if you need my support let’s get on with the building of our eBay business it really is an excellent cost-effective way of starting an online business, and with the free eBay workshops on offer by Business Link Yorkshire and my support there is no reason why you can’t build an eBay business to suit you.

Thanks to all of you for the excellent turnout at yet another successful eBay trading workshop.

All topics of the basics of selling on eBay were covered and I just want to point out that here on my website you can access some videos which will help you create a listing and remember I am here if you need some help.

Once you have registered as a seller don’t forget to sign up for seller newsletter where you will be kept informed of all the latest developments on all things eBay for sellers.

We keep getting the 64 million dollar question at the end of the workshop where do we purchase goods for resale and so a quick reminder that suck simple things such as yell.com,yellow pages, or even applegate.com are good starting points and before you decide to become some big importers of goods for resale please tread very carefully investigate and don’t buy unless you can through paypal.

eBay Trading workshop Holiday inn Hotel Sheffield

First of a full to overflowing eBay workshop thanks to Business Link for a very well run and organised event and thank you Lauren our brilliant events coordinator.

What a brilliant audience you all were so very focused on the eBay trading workshop thanks for your attention.

I just want to go over some of the things we spoke about together during the eBay trading workshop as a little but important reminder for you all.

Ladies be very careful when placing items on a collect only basis if you have to use this option make sure you have someone there with you at all times.

On payment make sure that you never agree to send payment using western union or the like only stick with paypal its the safest most secure method protecting both buyer and seller alike and of course buyers feel safe and secure when paying using paypal meaning increased chances of you making the sale.

From time to time eBay will offer free listing days and other types of excellent promotion that can help save you money on listing fees watch out for the promotions and sign up to seller news letter.

Last but not least I am here to help and support you keep in touch and if you are uncertain about anything give me a shout glad to assist you in any way I can.
